Advanced Communication Network Program

special projects The Advanced Communication Network Program was responsible for the development of major new Network integrations for Intra/Inter-Networks for the University, such as the fiber optic backbone, Internet 2, Abilene, and high speed dial-in modem pools.


ACNP Phase I

  • Connect over 70 buildings on campus to the Fiber Backbone Network
